TigerDirect moves Build Your Own PC Race For Charity to Miami as part of Tech Bash

TigerDirect, a subsidiary of Systemax, and AMD  announced the dates for the 17th annual Build Your Own PC Race For Charity and the finals will be right here.  The racers who assemble their PC in the fastest times in each city will win all expenses paid trips to Miami for the finals competition during the 2014 TigerDirect Tech Bash Nov. 7.

For years, the TigerDirect Build Your Own PC Race has been part of  Las Vegas’s annual Consumer Electronics Show, and until 2012 was only available to journalists. In 2013, TigerDirect opened the races to the public and said they received an overwhelming response. From here on out, it will be part of TigerDirect Tech Bash.

Current locations for the 2014 regional races include:

·       Delaware – August 9th, 2014

·       Dallas – August 23rd, 2014

·       Chicago – September 13th, 2014

·       Jacksonville – September 27th, 2014

·       Tampa – October 11th, 2014

·       Miami – October 18th, 2014

The Finals will be held in Miami at the TigerDirect Tech Bash on Nov. 7, 2014.

Regional Race Prizing

1st place at each regional event will win:

·       $500 donation to racer’s charity of choice

·       $500 TigerDirect.com Gift Card

·       Airfare for two to Miami

·       Hotel accommodations in Miami for two nights

·       A chance to compete in the Finals at the TigerDirect Tech Bash!

2nd place at each regional event will win:

·       $250 donation to racer’s charity of choice

·       $250 TigerDirect.com Gift Card

·       Airfare for two to Miami

·       Hotel accommodations in Miami for two nights

·       A chance to compete in the Finals at the TigerDirect Tech Bash!

3rd place at each regional event will win:

·       $100 donation to racer’s charity of choice

·       $100 TigerDirect.com Gift Card
