Flexing their entrepreneurial muscle, brothers Sam and Beau Haginas of Miami Beach launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund TVPRO, which is designed to make any TV a "beyond smart" TV.
The brothers are co-founders ofReshape, an online video training company that connects people with top health and wellness professionals live through the TV. When they looked at the existing technology to bring Reshape to the TV, they weren’t satisfied with what was available.
So they developed their own device.
TVPRO is the first intelligent interactive media player with HD webcam designed to bring the same intuitive features you experience on your computer and smartphone to any TV, the brothers said. For the Reshape Platform, it will bring users a personalized and interactive training experience, they said.
“When we came up with the concept for Reshape, we wanted the entire platform to be utilized through the TV, because having a live interaction with someone on a small tablet or phone really doesn’t have that live feel,” said Beau. “We feel the TV will create as close to a real experience as you can get.”
The Haginas, who have started other companies, are quick to say that TVPRO can be used with many impactful applications, such as in healthcare and education. "We are now getting approached by companies in these specific industries validating our concepts of how the TVPRO can be used as a tool for life improvement," said Sam.
In development for about a year, TVPRO is equipped with a quad-core processor and full 1080p HD webcam. Powered by Android 4.2.2, TVPRO will include the Reshape platform app.

More than halfway through the campaign, about $37,400 has been pledged by 168 people. That's about 25 percent of the way to the team’s $150,000 goal. With Kickstarter, the project will not be funded unless the goal is met. The campaign ends June 27.
The Haginas plan to launch Reshape this August. Stay tuned.
