The KnowledgeMIA is holding its second workshop in its series: A member from Mozilla's Firefox Biz Dev team will share plans for their new mobile operating system called Firefox OS.
Given the power that Android (Google) and iOS (Apple) have on the market, there is a need for a more open and flexible alternative to continue to foster competition in the space, says Demian Bellumio, who organizes KnowledgeMIA. “Mozilla will use their thousands of developers to try to level the playing field in the mobile OS market, much in the same manner as how they helped the browser market with their widely used Firefox browser.,” he said, adding that this workshop is perfect for everyone interested in the mobile space and in what impact this could have on their businesses.
