PWRPWRstation, a solar product development startup based in Miami, was invited to participate in an upcoming “Technology in Action” event in Geneva hosted by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR),  the Permanent Mission of Norway and other international humanitarian organizations, said co-founder Ludovic Roche.

The two-day informational event next week is for presenting technologies and service solutions covering shelter, hybrid energy generation, water and sanitation. Visitors will discover technologies and solutions recently selected by UNHCR to overcome difficulties experienced by the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations when deployed on emergency missions or living and working in protracted humanitarian operations.

“PWRstation solar technology solutions are designed to meet many of the energy, security and reduced cost needs of those working in emergency and humanitarian situations, and  we look forward to showcasing our solutions among those of other invited companies,” said William Berenson, PWRstation Global CMO (pictured above with Roche), who will be attending the conference. “Overcoming difficulties experienced by the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations is nothing short of a collective effort.”

PWRstation develops pre-assembled retractable solar energy delivery systems engineered in Switzerland, built in the U.S. by a German-based global solar mounting manufacturer, and distributed through alliance partners to residential, business and government end users for grid, off-grid and mobile energy applications in North and Latin America and EMEA.

Roche said several developments are in the works. "We have been receiving great feedback from installers and industry peers and are looking forward to start shipping products in February," Roche said.
