Although the application deadline for the Launch Pad Tech Accelerator has passed, there is still time to apply for its new community program. Twenty-five companies will be selected to participate and will receive free structured programming and mentoring and low-cost work space. The 25 companies do not have to be in the three verticals (tourism/hospitality, healthcare and creative) that the accelerator accepts.

Meanwhile, Launch Pad Tech is evaluating its more than 125 applications and will announce its first accelerator class in coming weeks. Forty percent of the companies that applied came from outside the United States, says Launch Pad Tech founder Susan Amat. The program will run from mid-January through mid-April. Read more here.
