Miami's Got Tech!, the third annual Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce event that highlights emerging entrepreneurs and collegiate innovation, attracted a record crowd to Venture Hive in downtown Miami Thursday night. Along with networking, eight teams exhibited their technology products or projects at the event, and judges evaluated them.
Best in Show: Karl Morris, an FIU student, and Xabriel J. Collazo Mojica of Colada Studios, which launches apps, for the Pic & Choose app.
Runner up: Jay Prendes, an FIU alum, and Lea Mcnaughton for Jayster, the Bluetooth-smart keychain so you will never lose your keys again.
